OUR PASTOR
Pastor Eduardo Bermudez was born and raised in Ecuador. He moved to the United States in 1995 and studied English at Bergen Community College. Eddie gave his life to the Lord in 2002 and has since served Christ in many areas of ministry. He has worked mentoring youth, establishing and developing life groups for adults, and has also served in several leadership positions over the past twelve years. He has a heart for the practical teaching of the word of God through life groups and for holistic leadership development. Eddie received his Officiating License from Grace and Peace on January 31, 2014 and he is authorized to conduct services and administer ordinances according to the custom of the church and the laws of the state. During the day Eddie runs his trucking business.
Eddie and his wife Diana have been married for twelve years and are passionate about community development work. In his free time, Eddie volunteers at Hackensack High School as an English as a second language teacher for adults. He enjoys traveling, reading books, and researching topics that can help improve his knowledge about the word of God. Eddie and Diana enjoy coffee and sweets.
Eddie’s favorite Bible verse is 2nd Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”.

We are a movement of men and women called to Bergen County, New Jersey to be a church in the city all week long for the good of the city, and the glory of God. With, for, because, about Jesus. Misson Statement:
To seek and to save that which is lost by providing encounter with God in His Word, His worship, and His wonder so that our Lord is glorified, His church edified, and His enemies terrified.
Vision Statement:
The Church of Grace and Peace is called to identify, recruit, and train believers to carry the ministry of Christ and the local church into every area of our society by presenting the Lord in a contemporary, creative, and credible way so as to fashion a people forged in His character, pursuing His purpose, and working His will. We are to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, raise up leaders who will lift up Christ, building the people that shape the world.
